How to use this prompt
Lanterns are translucent, so they only glow if the light reads as coming from inside them — that is why the prompt says "glowing" and pairs it with "warm light reflecting" off the stone, giving the glow somewhere to land. The rain-dark street is the second light source by reflection; without it the lanterns float in a black void. Resist writing any characters on the lanterns — calligraphy renders as gibberish, so the prompt keeps them plain and lets colour and repetition carry the festive read.
