How to use this prompt
"Stacked cliffside village with pastel-coloured houses cascading down" is the architectural detail that identifies this as the Amalfi Coast specifically — without it Midjourney renders a generic Mediterranean coastline. "A single wooden motorboat anchored in the bay" is the scale element that gives the scene a focal point; multiple boats clutter the composition. "Bold flat colour blocks with screen-print texture" is the technique anchor that produces the 1930s poster look — without it Midjourney defaults to a photorealistic rendering. "Deep azure blue and terracotta and cream" is the palette that says "Italian Riviera" without being a generic blue-sea poster. Stylize 250 gives the flat composition enough aesthetic push without distorting the architectural lines.
Variations to try
- Swap the village for a Positano beach scene with umbrellas and a stone pier
- Change to a dusk palette with warm orange sky and lit windows in the houses
