Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
Promptkoi ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect very little, nothing is sold, and you can decline analytics cookies entirely and use the site exactly the same.
What we collect
- Analytics (with your consent). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which prompts and articles are useful — page views and anonymous interaction events such as copying a prompt or using a filter. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept the cookie banner; declining disables them (Google Consent Mode).
- Newsletter email (only if you subscribe). Your email address is stored with our newsletter provider solely to send you the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately.
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to help you.
Advertising
We plan to show ads via Google AdSense. Ad partners may use cookies to serve ads; where consent is required (e.g. in the EU/UK), personalised advertising cookies are used only with your consent, and non-personalised ads are shown otherwise. We will update this policy when ads go live.
Cookies we use
cookie-consent— remembers your banner choice (stored locally).theme— remembers your light/dark preference (stored locally).- Google Analytics cookies (
_ga,_ga_*) — only with consent.
Third parties
We use Cloudflare (hosting/CDN and basic security logging), Google Analytics (consent-gated analytics), Google AdSense (advertising, when live), and a newsletter provider (subscriber emails). We never sell personal data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict processing. Since we hold almost nothing, the usual answer is quick — email [email protected] and we'll handle it within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and adjust the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be noted on the homepage or in the newsletter.
