How to use it well

Keep the subject concrete — "a lighthouse on a basalt cliff at dusk" beats "a cool lighthouse" every time, because Midjourney rewards visual specifics over adjectives. Then change one layer at a time: swap the lighting while everything else stays fixed and you'll learn exactly what each phrase contributes. The stylize slider is the artistic-liberty dial — keep it at 50–100 for logos, icons and anything where geometry must hold; push toward 250–400 for painterly scenes. If unwanted elements creep in, add --no text, watermark at the end by hand — we left --no chains out of the builder deliberately so the copy button never ships exclusions you didn't choose.

Why does the builder not add --no exclusions automatically?

We left --no chains out on purpose, so the copy button never ships exclusions you did not choose. If unwanted elements creep in — text, watermarks, extra objects — add --no text, watermark yourself at the end of the prompt. --no is Midjourney's negative-prompt flag and works reliably, but which terms to exclude is a per-image decision the tool should not guess for you.
