How to use this prompt
Vintage signage is the fastest way to ruin a neon shot, because the model will happily invent a motel name in melted letters. Splitting the sign — "blank unlit sign panel" but glowing "arrow and starburst elements" — keeps all the mid-century character with none of the garbled type. The wet asphalt is not decoration: without it the neon has nothing to bounce off and the lower half of a 16:9 frame goes dead black. "The last orange band on the horizon" pins the exact dusk minute; say "sunset" and you get a bright orange sky that overpowers the neon completely. One parked car gives scale — two or more turns it into a busy parking lot.
