How to use this prompt
Literary fiction covers live or die on restraint, and the single most important instruction is "a large empty area in the upper third reserved for the title" — without it Midjourney fills the whole frame and the typesetter has nowhere to put the wordmark. Stylize 150 is deliberately low because anything above 250 adds decorative flourish that fights the contemplative tone. "A single bare tree" is the anchoring subject, and "single" matters because the model defaults to a forest if you just say "tree." The "one lit window" is the detail that gives the cover its human warmth without showing a person, which is the literary fiction convention — the reader is implied, never depicted.
