How to use this prompt
Say "foggy" on its own and Midjourney gives you a sharp forest with grey filter over it. Naming the falloff distance — "fading to pale grey silhouettes within thirty metres" — forces real atmospheric perspective, where each rank of trees is lighter than the one in front. That gradient is the whole reason this works as a print. The boardwalk "running away from the camera" supplies the only strong line in an otherwise soft image; without it a 2:3 crop has no structure and reads as mush. Keep "no signage" in: fog scenes attract trail markers, and every one comes back with invented lettering on it.
Variations to try
- Shift to blue hour with frost on the planks and a colder blue-grey palette for a winter print
- Replace the pines with bare birch trunks so the white bark separates against the fog
