Moss Terrarium on a Windowsill
FluxMoss Terrarium on a Windowsill is a Flux.1 dev prompt for plant-shop and home-decor imagery at 4:5. Backlighting the dome makes moss glow translucent, and the visible gravel-charcoal-soil profile is what identifies it as a properly built terrarium rather than a plant in a jar.

Prompt
A closed glass terrarium on a white-painted windowsill, cushion moss and one small fern growing over a clearly visible layer profile of gravel, black charcoal and dark soil pressed against the glass, a single piece of lichen-covered branch, faint condensation beading on the upper inside of the dome, bright overcast daylight coming from behind so the moss glows translucent green, plain pale wall behind, shallow depth of field, no text

How to use this prompt
Moss is translucent, and that is the only thing that makes it photograph well. Light it from behind and each cushion glows; light it from the front and it flattens into a dark green mat with no depth at all. The second detail people who build these actually look for is the substrate profile — gravel, then charcoal, then soil, pressed visibly against the glass. Ask for it explicitly or Flux fills the base with undifferentiated brown. Condensation on the inside of the dome is what says "closed system"; without it the glass reads as an empty ornament. Resist adding more plants — one fern keeps the layers readable.
Variations to try
- Open the top: a wide bowl terrarium with succulents, sand layers and no condensation
- Scale up to a large apothecary jar on a plant stand with trailing ivy and a wider room context
