How to use this prompt

The one-inch square grid is the single most important element on a battle map, and naming "one-inch squares" tells Flux the scale and purpose — a gridless map is useless for miniatures. The faint light grey colour is deliberate because a dark grid competes with the room features and makes the map hard to read under a table lamp. "Doors drawn as gaps in the walls with small swing-direction arcs" is the D&D cartography convention for portals, and naming the arc detail prevents Flux from drawing doors as flat rectangles. The top-down icon view for objects — crates, pool, altar — is what separates a usable battle map from a decorative dungeon illustration.

Variations to try

  • Add a lava channel in glowing orange-red running through the bottom chamber for a volcanic dungeon
  • Replace the stone dungeon with a forest clearing battle map — trees as top-down canopy circles and a campfire
