Professional Headshots by Profession Pack

Keynote speaker, clinician, estate agent, podcast host, author, trainer, chef and tradesperson — headshot prompts built around the job, not the lighting rig.

Most headshot prompts are organised by lighting recipe — softbox, golden hour, single key — which is useful when you already know the look you want and useless when what you actually need is a photo that convinces someone to book you. This pack is organised the other way round, by profession, because the job dictates almost every decision the lighting choice is downstream of. A clinician needs a stethoscope that hangs like it has been worn all day rather than draped like a costume prop, and a background too blurred for the model to invent medical text. An estate agent needs a bounce fill on the shadow side, because half a face in shadow reads moody and moody does not sell houses. A keynote speaker needs a rim light or the figure dissolves into the unlit auditorium behind them. An author needs empty space above the head for jacket typography, or a designer cannot use the picture at all. A trainer needs relaxed arms instead of folded ones, which is the difference between welcoming a nervous beginner and intimidating them. Each entry names the one instruction that carries the result, states the settings it was tested at, and flags the failure the prompt is written to prevent — invented signage, plastic retouched skin, garbled equipment branding, or the symmetrical prop that gives a stock-photo fake away. For portrait craft across pets and painterly styles rather than professions, see the Headshots & Portrait Pack.
