Architecture is the use case where the prompt has to do the most work — a building is read by its grammar (arch order, roof profile, window rhythm, material) and the models default to a generic "nice building" unless every one of those is named. The eight prompts here span eight traditions that real architectural photographers and illustrators shoot: a six-storey Art Nouveau Parisian apartment facade with organic wrought-iron balconies, a Gothic cathedral west front with a twelve-spoke rose window, a row of five London Victorian terraced houses in yellow-stock brick, a single- storey mid-century Palm Springs desert house with a cantilevered overhang, an Andalusian palace arched corridor with zellige tilework, a Brutalist public library in board-formed concrete, a five-storey Japanese pagoda in a cedar forest, and a Sicilian stone farmhouse in an olive grove. Every entry leans on the same two instructions: a stated material ("London-stock yellow brick," "cypress-bark shingle roof," "honey-coloured limestone") because the model's default is generic stone, and a "straight-on in elevation view" framing because raked three-quarter angles hide the facade's symmetry. The recurring failure is signage — modern shop fronts and logos kill the period — so every prompt bans text and signage explicitly. Generate the facade, keep the linework period-correct, and let the material do the talking.
