How to use this prompt
Two things break a generated repeat, and both are fixed in the prompt rather than after. Cast shadows anchor every element to one light direction, so the moment the tile repeats the light appears to come from four places at once — hence "no cast shadows" in the prompt and the negative. Directional bias is the second: left to itself SDXL points every stem the same way and the eye reads a grain across the fabric. Be honest about the limit, though — no diffusion model produces a truly edge-matched tile. This gets you the artwork; run an offset filter and patch the seam before you sell it as a repeat.
Variations to try
- Shift to an autumn palette: pressed maple, oak leaves and seed heads in rust, gold and brown
- Sparse version — half the density on a deep charcoal ground for a moodier fabric print
